Bounce in WAV format?

Any way to make bounce to track produce a *.wav file?   (Doable in export, but not obvious in bounce.)

Yup, all clips in your project are wave files. It may not be obvious where to find one, though, since SONAR assigns file names based on its own cryptic naming convention. However, you can go to the clip properties and find out its actual file name.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

OK .... thanks.....So just to be ridiculously clear and obstinent-sounding, only in file/export do you get the choice of different file formats, (Microsoft .wav, wave, mp3, etc); whereas in bounce all files are "wave" (as opposed to .wav) file format?   (Which explains why my wave editor and cd burner doesn't like them?)

But wave and .wav are in fact the same format?

What wave editor are you using.  My old Sound Forge editor deals with the .wavs from bounced tracks with no problem.  It's possible that you're using a bit depth in Sonar which isn't compatible with your editor program.

Don't know if your aware but I open individual tracks into Wave Lab using the tool menu where Wave Lab shows as an option. I believe Sonar recognizes most other audio editing software and adds to the list.
Sonar's tracks are (standard?) Wave files you can  play them with Windows Media player or Win Amp. Just can't burn them to a CD directly.
