Bounce question

When bouncing a finished mix with all audio tracks, do you export/bounce/entire mix, or from main outputs.

(X1c essentials, using a master buss before main out sound card buss, two stereo busses for reverb and compression, and a few effects on individual tracks.)

Also What is the best setup for running tracks thru the master buss, and out of the main out buss

I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!

I don't use the word bounce in this context but thats just me. I use export and because I have all tracks and buses routed to my master buss, I use it only as the export buss for a mix down.  Your main outs serve the same purpose as long as you have all your tracks going to that out either via a master buss or without. Entire mix should do the same thing as long as its setup to do that. These are just presets and can be modified. Be sure to check out the dialog and the check boxes it has. That they are set as you want them.

Robo--I'm with John - I'm not getting what the question/issue/problem is.  When you export a 2-track master, if you have all your tracks and/or buses routed through a master bus - that final out put has to be coming through your m ain outputs, because those are simply your sound card/interface's conduit into the world.--

If your project is set up in any kind of logical way, you're routing all the signals to come out of your sound card--and what you hear is what you'll get when you export that 2-track master--(to re-phrase my first paragraph).

What is the best set up for etc--as per your second question--Same as the first answer.  Tracks to buses, buses to Master bus, Master to interface.---
