Bounce to Track Internal Error?

OK- I record a drum midi track using Jamstix 3 and a BFD-2 kit. I then select all, and then select bounce to track.

I then get the message "An Internal error occured while Processing the mixdown. The operation was Unsuccessful. Not enough storage is available to complete this operation".

But..., I have over 640 gigs left on the hard drive...

Update: Tried this with version  8.5.3 and I did not see the error. Yea I know- I restarted and reset stuff by loading programs... Will try again with X1b and see what happens...

That's usually not because you ran out of disk space, but because you exceeded the memory limit. Easy workaround (at least, it's always worked for me): freeze your drum tracks first, then bounce.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
