Bounce to clip alters volume

When I bounce some audio to a clip the volume audibly seems to increase substantially.

I have a clip envelop for gain; however when I bounce the clip seems to ignore the envelope and just get louder.  The envelop is set for -db.

Any suggestions?

Running X1b Producer.

thanks,

Charley

What are you bouncing?   If you are boucing several tracks of audio to a clip, then the "mix" can be louder than it's parts (obviously.)
