Bounce to clips wiping recording

I'm having an issue where when I use Bounce to Clips it is simply wiping out the recorded information and creating a single empty clip. I'm having a similar issue when I create a Melodyne region, it creates the region, but destroys the recorded info. What do I have, or don't have, selected correctly?

Clip muted, or clip gain/FX doing something unexpected? Can you hear it before bouncing or applying Melodyne?

I experienced the same (or one version of it) bounce-to-clips symptoms just lately. To give the shortest version of the story, the solution in my case was to change the record mode to "Blend old and new", and check that all layers were selected, too.

Yeah, the recording is normal from all indications, until I try to Bounce or create a melodyne region. Can't find anything muted, and not sure how to check gain/FX. And it's not something specific to the project I'm working on at the moment. I opened an old project and tried to Bounce to Clips with a track and got the same result, so it's something global.

Hmmm, thanx for the suggestion, tried it but it didn't solve the issue. I'm not very familiar with layers, is that "Lanes"... when I select the track and open Lanes they are all selected, but in that mode I don't get the Bounce to Clips option, but I assume when I close Lanes they are still selected.

Thanks for the help... as it turns out, I solved the problem by simply updating to the latest version (I've not been paying attention I guess). Once updated, all was back to normal.
