Bounce to tracks vs. freeze and move
Hey guys,
I've gotten accustomed to freezing tracks and then moving the audio data to a new track, as opposed to using the bounce to tracks function.
In X1, I'm noticing that I get little crackles from the frozen track. Is this normal? The freeze takes 1/10 the time it takes to bounce to track, so this makes me think the track freezing cuts some corners and isn't really intended to be used for what I'm doing. But I've done this for a long time in 8.x and never noticed crackles before.
Am I crazy?
Thanks!
