Bouncing MIDI to Audio - What am I doing wrong?
Why am I getting god-awful stuttering on the audio track itself when I bounce LiveSynth Pro tracks to audio? It only started happening with S7. I was bouncing just fine with LSP in S6.
Steps I've taken to try to fix the problem (in vain) :
- 64-bit Engine both on and off
- Fast Bounce both on and off
- Various buffer/ms settings, from 2 buffers / 11ms to 5 buffers 30ms
- MIDI buffers @ 64, 128 and 500
- Read/write cache both on and off
- WDM/KS drivers and ASIO drivers
Same result each time. Not always the same type of stuttering, but stuttering nonetheless each and every time. On the resulting audio track itself (normal playback is just fine).
Suggestions?
PS: I am using an Echo Gina3G with latest drivers. I tried installing older drivers, but XP won't let me. It keeps re-installing the recent ones, even after the installation tool deletes them and reboots. But I very much doubt this is a driver issue.
