Bouncing a Kontakt midi track to audio in Sonar?
Hi there, I did a search but could not find the answer here. If this problem has already been solved, please direct me to the appropriate thread. Thanks.
All I want to do is bounce a single Kontakt midi track to audio. I prefer to work with multi-outs in Kontakt. Each midi channel has it's own audio output. I tried selecting (in solo) the Kontakt midi track (not the clip) and also selected the corresponding Kontakt audio track to do the bounce, but the new audio track that is created has a flatline waveform, no sound. I could freeze the synth, but I don't like having to freeze all the parts just to bounce a 10 second clip for instance.
I don't get this problem when bouncing any other soft synth. I have no problems bounding to tracks with anything else so far. But, Kontakt won't let me do this.
I specifically just want to bounce certain Kontakt midi clips (specified begin and end time, so I'm not bouncing the entire length of the track) to audio. It's a simple task, but for some reason Sonar is making this so damn difficult.
Any suggestions?
