Bouncing changes Take Lane

I'm editing a project that I started I think in X1 or X2 (now using Platinum).  When I bounce a clip in a Take Lane, it is moving the clip to Take Lane 1 - even if I have another clip in Take Lane 1, so that they are superimposed.  I'm going from memory (dangerous) but it seems this was happening when I previously worked on this project.  So I don't think it's related to Platinum, but something in my project setup (or I suppose a bug from a prior version that is causing this when working on it in Platinum.)

I can't find a prior thread on this - any fix to correct it?  It's a bit of a pain to have to move a clip every time I bounce it, which I'm doing repeatedly with my current edit.

I think it is a bug from track layers time (x1) so I got used to not bouncing the take lanes instead :(
