Br 800 to Sonal LE 8.5

Hi
I've a br 800 from Boss. It was delivered with Soner LE 8.5 for the editing part of the recording.

I want to record my band with the BR 800 and the edit the tracks on the Sonar LE. How can I import to sonar LE (installed on my computer at home) the tracks recorded in the studio?

Ps : can I install the Sonar LE on 2 computers?

Thanks a lot for your help and sorry for my English ;)

Welcome to the forum.
Just connect the BR 800 to your computer with the USB cable. Turn on. Open SONAR. Check that the BOSS is seen by SONAR. You might have to click the Wave Profiler button under Options>Audio.
Select the BOSS as an input in an audio track.
Mute all the tracks you don't want recorded on the SONAR track.
Arm the track for recording.
Press play on the BR 800.
Adjust the output level of the BOSS so it's not clipping in the SONAR track. Once the level is correct, rewind(?) the BOSS, click the Record button in SONAR, start the BOSS again and the BOSS track will be recorded into the SONAR track.
You can probably record more than one track at a time from the BOSS to SONAR, but the exact routing from the BOSS to SONAR will require some trial and error on your part. And the BOSS may only be able to send a single stereo signal or 2 mono signals at a time, which means you might only be able to record 2 tracks at a time in SONAR. The BOSS manual should help with that info.
Make sure you download the latest drivers and updates for the BOSS and for your operating system:

You can have SONAR on more than 1 computer as long as you only use 1 at a time and you (the registered user) are the one using it.

Hi and thanks for the tips. two more questions came up ... > how can i syncronise the tracks if i play/record them one by one? is there any syncronising option? > i just tried to record them all together but is quite a mess. is there the possibility to assign to the tracks on Sonar the correspoindent track of the BR 800? Thanks a lot for the help, i'm a rookie in the world of recording so i'll probably come on the forum regularly ;) keep on rocking, Matteo

It may be possible to record multiple tracks from the BOSS if the BOSS can send multiple tracks. Check the manual.
If so, you can set up SONAR to record on seperate tracks. Each SONAR track would have a different input selected corresponding to an output from the BOSS.

You can export a batch of WAV files from the BR800 to Sonar. It explains the procedure in the manual. Line up the individual WAV files at 0 and you'll have everything as recorded to your SD card. You can also multi-arm Sonar using the BR800 as the interface and get 4 inputs recorded at the same time.
