    Two versions.

Neither one will bitflipper care about (methinks)

I see bitflipper producing Polka/Rap hybrid music before i see him using something like this.

I guess it's an ok product but seems like another classic, shortcut to techniques used by subgenres that are being absorbed into mainstream pop tools.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.  It just usually indicates that subgenre is slowly dying and pop is going to pillage whatever it can before that dreath occurs

I know you lot probably don't see this as useful and I know it has the name Tweaker in the title but.....

you can load any sample wav or AIFF, streamlined beat / drum sequencing, Trash 2 distortion effects (some not all), LFO assignments to individual beats.

There is a lot in this plugin other than the glitch, dubstep stuff - though that's probably who it's marketed for.

I want to throw some vocal samples at this thing and manipulate them and see what it does.  or synth seq phrases.

I think it may have more potential than what it is being marketed for.

I think that is true with most plugins.  Many products ended up being more useful for something other than the original purpose pushed in marketing. Lysol was once used as birth control!  I downloaded the demo.  I will have some fun but i suspect it may be priced beyond my means at the moment.

I am going to play with the demo this weekend (depending on how the studio re-org goes today). This isn't something I would ordinarily be interested in, but perhaps it will spur some creative juices. Some of the guitar stuff I do might go well over the top of some danceable stuff. Dunno - seems like fun...

dub and baps, you're right. I watched the video but honestly couldn't think of anything useful to do with this gizmo, off-label or otherwise. That could be just my own lack of imagination, I dunno.

They should call it BreakTweaker 76 so that people can say it sounds almost if not better than the real thing.
