Breverb

I find on vocals it really adds a lot but is very transparent-very cool indeed. Just makes vocals fatter?better? thicker? whatever-Nice. Thats only testing the presets also.

I threw it onto a drums mix playing around w/ presets and parameters. I may well plunk down the upgrade price. I am liking the plug alot!

Same here. Only added it to vocal, had a recording session tonight. Was suprised. Had quite a bit of reverb and still sounded very mild/pleasant. didn't clash with busy audio and really sounded nice during breaks. I am happy with it!

Very bus worthy...will be replacing some of my UAD stuff

I'm using SOnar Platinium on a 6 core Lynx Audio machine and a ton of vintage pre-amps/eq's/comps I build for fun and sometimes money, REDD.47/API/Neve I also use the UAD stuff, and also use a Macbook Logic 9 through Apogee...

I think it is a very sweet bread-and-butter reverb! Sounds a bit like those mid-price Lexicon boxes I've used a lot (no experience with the expensive stuff).

I'm less impressed with TH2. I don't find anything in there that I can't do better between my Scuffham and my Guitar Rig 5.

    Loving Breverb.

Have used it on vocals, strings and Melotron vocals.  Put it on a Classical guitar using the Segovia prest and it was delightful..

I have not yet upgraded to X2. Can any of you who have confirm whether Breverb Sonar uses 64 bit audio processing? You could check this by inserting it as a VST in the FX bin (not the ProChannel) and seeing whether two (32 bit) or four (64 bit) little vertical lines are displayed below the effect name in the FX bin. You may think it is silly, but I like to have all my effects use 64 bit audio processing, and I've found that almost no reverbs do. I was hoping that Breverb Sonar would. Maybe it does automatically when inserted in the ProChannel, we'd probably have to get input from someone at Cakewalk to confirm that.

I'm personally in no haste with upgrading to X2 -- the new reverb is about the only thing about X2 that grabbed my immediate interest. On the one hand, I've been eyeing the ValhallaRoom for a while, which would cost me less and still (supposedly) deliver; at the moment I've only got what comes with X1Pro, and some decent freebies like the Bricasti M7 IRs and epicVerb. On the other, a ProChannel reverb would be really handy (and no, the TSAR1R, or anything that requires an iLok, is not an option for me)... Choices, choices...

So, is anyone upgrading to the full Breberb product? Or is the lite version good enough?

If you don't have a vast toolbox of verbs then the upgrade is a definate plus...but I have several UAD cards and some waves plugs that can fill in the gaps the lighter version may leave...

They have done a very good produc and I do not hesitate to recommend tis company

Well, I've upgraded to full Breverb 2. It appears that the full version does not appear in ProChannel and you have to place it into the effects bin. Or you can have it in ProChannel but only in the FX Chains bin. I was looking forward to having the full biftas in ProChannel. Ah well, not a big issue I suppose...

Until I discovered the THD amp model, that was! This thing is unlike anything I have in my arsenal! I like the cab/micing options as well!

I love the Breverb as well. I just wish the fonts were white and not red. It's almost impossible to use.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
