Wow!  I expected another uptempo piece and you superceded my expectations.

Also, you handled the vintage monophonic panorama like a master.

Is that you whistling in the middle?

Thank you for that fresh breath of air!

Jimmy- I'm glad you had fun with it, and thank you for the very kind words.

Philip- Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.  And, yeah, that was me doing the whistling... I wonder if I could still do it today given the amount of intervening dental work   That part also gave me the chance to sing duo back up harmony with Ellie Greenwich, which was a huge blast for me.

Robby- A man of few words, but that looks positive to me so thanks for giving her a second spin.

Phil

I can hear some Bread influence in there along with a number of other "Oldies".

Nice trip back to days of yore.

yep this is a hit I'd say! sounds like early 70's. My ear was glued to the radio back then!  Top production and listen to those backup singers! Thanks for sharing this gem from the past.  And thanks for comments on Revelations From The Age of Enlightenment.  mike

You cheated man.  Did you just A to D and released it.  I've got lots of things I did on 8 and 16 track in the 80's that I've started re-working.  but I started from scratch.

Mike- Thanks for the kind words.  Yeah, the 2 Steve's and Elie were great on the backing vox... I couldn't believe how easy it was for them.  I even got to sing a little with Elie which was a major kick for me.

jhaugh- Thanks.  I was lucky to have a great producer who let me sit in and help with the mixes.  And, yeah, I did cheat, 'cause they duped off a reel-to-reel 2 track of the final mix and I just had to dump it into Sonar.
