Broadcast wave export

Is there a way to export tracks as a broadcast waves, but keep them layered? When I import them into my new project, they are just 1 giant wave form chunk. I would like them to be in layers as the original project.

Thanks!

Layers are separate wave files that are displayed and processed in a common track for convenience, a DAW construct that the simple wave file format knows nothing about. To preserve them as separate entities you'd have to export each layer individually. I don't believe SONAR offers such an option (but then I've never looked for one). What you'd have to do, I think, is split the layers into separate tracks and then export.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
