Browser Audio Preview--A Mistake I Made
99 times out of a 100 it's not the programs fault. It inevitably is user error. I've accepted this as an axiom for myself, and, although it has caused me much embarrassment, it ultimately helps me solve problems.
Case #1241 of my own user error.
A few days ago, I posted that I couldn't hear any audio preview in my browser. (I use
Sonar Producer X1 Expanded.)
The answer is, of course, simple. Under the
Browser,
Media Drop-Down Menu,
Media Preview Bus--for some reason defaulted to
None.
Ugh! As soon as I picked
Master or my sound card, it worked perfectly.
Anyway, I hope eff-up will help someone in the future.
