Bub...

...here is some good info about the release you were curious about.

After reading about the additional steps they took I pre-ordered.
My reasoning was not only for the addition to the collection but
it will be cool someday to compare this set to the Mobile Fidelity set.

Oh how I wish I wouldn't have read that.

    I'd love to have this.

The thing that stands out to me is, they recognized what the Limiter did to the remastered CD release and removed it for the LP's.

I know this may sound weird, but I wonder if they'll ever put out the CD version of this box set since it's a completely new remaster? They did a lot to this.

The only thing I disagree with in what they said was, "With this release, The Beatles' first four albums make their North American stereo vinyl debuts"

Not sure where they got that notion from but I've had the first four albums in stereo for years. Bought them brand new at K-Mart IIRC back in the early 80's IIRC. I also have an old bootleg of Please Please Me in Stereo. Wish it was a real copy. They were worth $60G last time I checked.

Thanks for the link. There's some great info in there!

Now I have to beg the wife for $400 bucks.

"I pulled the head off Elvis, filled Fred up to his pelvis, yaba daba do, the King is gone, and so are you."
