Bug with non-destructve fade

I've posted before about the intermittant bug I have with non-destructive fades (and reported it), but here's a video capture of a very very bizarre variation.  Watch the waveform as I try to put a fade in at the beginning.  And no, this isn't a comp'd clip or anything special, just a simple short one-take recording of some guitar chords.  And yes, I've tried bouncing it to a new track and that doesn't cure it either.

Is that gain reduction on the whole track audible, or just graphical? the visual fade is a new feature, so it wouldn't surprise me too much is there is a graphical logic bug.

I see a similar effect, but for about twice the length of the fade, not the whole clip.

It seems to be just graphical as the fade sounds correct.

Hmmm.. another UK-base member. What's the probability? I strongly suspect there's an issue with the version being distributed "across the pond".

I haven't yet seen a U.S. member report either the audible or graphical problems with fades.

It's the special hidden extra they use to justify the higher price we have to pay , even though we're downloading from the same servers you are...

The apparent (random?) gain reductions in the body of the clip are graphical only.  But the opening fade curve mutes the clip entirely which suddenly 'turns on' at the point the fade in curve ends.  Hrmph.
