Have used BurnAware free for years as a reliable workhorse for data storage burning to CD or DVD. Premium is about 20 bucks and adds a couple features unavailable to the free version.

Premium free for the taking for another day or so. Excellent program.

I'm another longtime user of Burn Aware.  I'm a couple years behind on the premium version, and had it on my list to upgrade -- so this came at the perfect time for me.  Thank you, sir!

    Welcomed Jon,

Only problem I ever had with Burn Aware was that it was less than stable cutting audio CD's. Had problems on too many occasions. Data recording is a solid as it comes. Simple, straight, reliable.

All favorites differ, but settled on a freeware compliment to Burn Aware with CD Burner XP. Same level of integrity burning audio CD's, and probably data discs. No complex fades like some commercial products, but gets the job done with a free price tag.

Interesting, I've never used Burn Aware for audio, only data (I have dBpoweramp for CD/mp3 ripping).
