Burning CD-Nero screw ups?

I'm getting odd results with Nero Express Essential.
Putting 12 songs (16 bit wav) onto a CD-R to demo them.
I've done this a few times with no problem in the past.
So far, 2 out of 3 don't play on my stereo.
The 1 that does, played the last song first and then the rest in order.
They all play fine on the computer.
Anyone else? Any thoughts?

On wav file properties (rt click) it says
    bit rate 1411kbps
    Audio sample size 16 bit
    channels 2 stereo
    Audio sample rate 44khz
    Audio format PCM
These were exported as 32 bit from Sonar
Then into Audacity for tweaking and exported to 16 bit wav, 44100 hz
I don't recall any changes from times that worked and one did work.
But I'll see if I can do them at 41000
    Thanks

Hmm further research shows they ALL play in the computer AND the car stereo.
    Something about my home stereo.

Definitely not a SONAR problem. Some older CD players cannot handle some recordable CD formats. It may only play CD+R, CDs made with slower speed media or it may just not like recordable CDs at all. The owners manual is a good place to look for the type of media supported by the player.

    Thanks.
It's odd that the one will play and that previous ones have played.
I hit start and the display goes to 1 then back to 0 and stops.
It's a Sony 5 disc player and I admit its older (15?), but it was a good one
Time for a new one I guess. Sigh
