Bus Insert Default Settings

When you right click and "Insert New Bus" is there a way to make the output of the new bus default to "Master"? It seems to automatically be set to the adjacent bus (can't recall if it's the one on the left or the one on the right). I wasted a lot of time trying to make some effects sound respectable, but didn't notice the bus O/P was being sent to a reverb bus, and that was why it sounded awful. The new effects bus had its own reverb sub-processor, making it hard to realise what was going on. I usually remember to look at the routing straight up, but forgot. If the new "insert bus" defaulted to Master though, I wouldn't have had a problem.

Right-click the Master bus and choose Set as Default Bus from the menu.
