Bussing Or Track Insert For VST Amps

I need some advice or tips on routing. I'm using two separate vst amps for the same rhythm guitar. Two identical tracks with one vst amp on each. I want to use a tube booster. Should I add that and the amp to the track itself or should I route them to an effect bus? Some people have said that if I route all the rhythm guitar tracks to the same amp (or in my case to the two separate amp busses), the quality will suffer. Is it a good idea to use one tube booster for both amp tracks or give each track it's own tube booster? I assume the tube booster should go before the amp sim to boost the signal. What if I also want to add a maximizer? Is this only for mastering? If not, where in the effect chain or effect bus should it go? P.S. I apologize if the post is all one big paragraph. Apparently, firefox doesn't work too well with posting on this forum.

    I'm guessing the sound will be the same either way. 

    Try both and see what works best for you.  I would definitely have each guitar going to it's own amp sim and not doubled up. 

    As far as what plugs to use....there are no rules. I use the so called mastering stuff on my tracks when I think that's the sound I want. 

    Stacking the FX in different orders will change the sound results so again... play around and see what sounds best to you. 

    I use busses with the FX in them when I have say... several vocal tracks or several guitar tracks and want the same reverb on all of them.... a buss is very handy for that. PLUS.... by putting the verb and compression or whatever in a buss, the track is still clean (no FX) so if I want to try a specific FX I can effect only that one track and this is really handy when running melodyne to fix a vocal track.
