And i second your comment about the cleaness of the sound , it reminds me Dimension Pro ......not flashy and fancy like other Sample based synth ...but everything a producer need (clean from start , so he can go anywhere with the sounds )

Really these are made to be shaped and molded to fit your mix. Sometimes, (For me a lot of the times) presets are too big for my mix and I want it to be a part of the music instead of the lead. With a couple of edits to the FX I have a few combis I go for all the time. You can shape, mix and match for some interesting sounds, then add in FX.... its powerful for what it is. I. Can't. Even. Begin. To. Show. My. Excitement. For. What. Is. Next. These libraries are going to be even better with the upcoming update. ;) At this point with only 23 left to hit 4 freebies and getting all 5 IK VI's for HALF the price of ONE.....3 days left....I'd say its safe to say we're going to hit it. 50% off and get THREE FREE....Help us get to FOUR

Good question, I'm going to get technical so be warned... 1 - Pick something you already own as your purchase, then the others are freebies. Because they are free, they are NFRs. (Not for resale, because they were gifted) You can't really sell them, but you have the extra download credits for the library and extra authorizations. Though if you ever run out of authorizations, let our support know and we'll reset it for you. If you bought something you already own you can sell it down the road. Right now probably wouldn't be too wise with the Group Buy going on as its not a good deal. You do need to purchase a voucher to transfer it to someone else's account. But after SampleTank 3 is released these libraries will be repriced to match the pricing of SampleTank 3 and its new library. tomixornot

They were blowing out the last of their boxed copies, if they register before the end, then yes. They'd still get a bunch for free, but they already have everything so I doubt they'd really care. Plus they'd have the DVDs of the sound library as well.

Can you elaborate a little on how those sampletank 2 based instruments (sampletron/moog ect...) will integrate in sampletank 3 (fully integrated or only via imports)

Question for all the users including Obi and Peter :
i just found that on Sampletank we can have a " Chord" mode .....but what a pity it seems to not be effectif when you play from a keybord (physical) but only via the virtual keyboard on sampletank !!! any comments on that ?
I'm an Obama when it comes to Chords ....this features is really cool and would have made me gain time !!
Peter and Obi , any infos on its future implementation on Sampletank 3 ? why not on other Vi's ?

@Zo Nope, can't give out any more details. I've already given way too many on these forums and more often than not its just come back to bite me.
What I can say, the current libraries will be full readable by SampleTank 3. No, we aren't working on individual updates because all focus and attention is on SampleTank 3 for now. After it is updated you'll see more of what is going on and where we are headed with our Virtual Instruments.

If I remember correctly, the chord feature only works from the screen not from an attached external keyboard. Don't forget the product is very old now.

Group buy is finally over, it looks like I sucessfully kept my GAS in check on this one.  It was a good deal, but I felt I already had things pretty well covered. I remain one of the few people in the world who do not have the complete set of IK VSTis.

Well worth it at this price, even without the others, its half off its full price. Which shouldn't drop much, if at all, when SampleTank 3 comes out. It'll just be a legacy library for SampleTank 3. Mesh

I bought the Group Buy - enjoying playing around with Miroslav (main reason I bought), Sampletank & SonicSynth particularly
I assume there is no way of making the GUI larger? Also is the way the cursor jumps away after changing presets in SampleMoog a known bug or is it just my PC? - doesn't seem to happen on the others
Overall though thought it was good value for what you get!
Hoping an upgrade to ST 3 isn't too expensive - even if it is just to get a better GUI!

No, the GUI will be larger with the upcoming SampleTank 3. As for the SampleMoog Bug, haven't heard of that before. I'd check with our support to see.
