Buzzing Sound When I Play A Track In Sonar X1 Producer Edition

Everytime I load up sonar x1, I click on new project (16 track), and import an instrumental on a track. But no matter what my output is (headphones, speakers, mic), there is always a buzzing sound when the track is played. Why is this and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

It might be helpful if you list:

    CPU
    Motehrboard
    Memory
    Sound Card/Audio Interface
    etc.

    How many tracks?
    What VSTs are you using?

    Which build of X1 also.
X1a created problems with some ASIO drivers.
The quick fixes have fixed most if not all.
My suggestion is you add system specs to your signature

    Toshiba Satellite C655
    Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.20Ghz

    Windows 7 64bit
    Conexant CX20671 SmartAudio HD

I only load one track, didn't even get to the VSTs yet because of the buzzing.

The laptop does not reach the minimum requirements for X1, but I'm not sure it alon e explains the
buzzing, neither the incapable intergrated soundchip.

Is there a difference whether you use the battery or wall-socket? It could have something to do with the wiring of the building. Constant buzzing seldom comes from drivers, lack of speed or RAM or such.

Knowing nothing about your loudspeakers etc. it could be caused by loudspeaker cables or a ground loop or...??

Does it happen with all projects similarlily? It is audio you're importing, isn't it?

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
