Buzzing Sound when sonar is open

I don't know why this is but whenever I'm in Sonar and a track is armed for recording, I hear a strange buzzing sound coming out of my headphones. It doesn't get recorded. Anybody know why this happens?

    You should tell us your system specs, sound card, what are you recording and how, what kind of mic, etc. There's no way to start guessing without any basic info.

    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

    Are you using the built-in soundchip? They often pick up noise from the RF frequencies inside your computer case. Do you hear it with nothing plugged into the soundcard?

    If you don't then it could be a poorly shielded cable.
