CAKEWALK ADAPTIVE LIMITER

I find that the adaptive limiter is tethered to Sonar. Wasn't it a VST also? I'd like to use it down the road so I'm wondering if there are 2 versions.

I think that it relies on some Sonar unique code so will not be made available outside of Sonar. If this was not the case I'm pretty sure that they would have offered it for sale to non Sonar users.

It's fully self-contained.  Any SONAR code it needs, is in it.  I think (just like with the EQ and MB) they just haven't gotten around to making it a stand-alone product just yet.  Who knows what will happen now.

It loaded in S1 but indicated it would only work in Sonar version XX or later (don't remember the version number.)

The EQ and MB are portable as far as I can tell, but not so with the Adaptive Limiter.  The CA-2A is also portable.

DAW: CbB; Sonar Platinum, and others ...
