I wasn't sure about this when I first heard the intro, but once things got going, this thing rocked. Lots of really well-played guitars. All the other instruments supported the song very well. I think this was awesome! Great job!

Listening to the Youtube version (SC is blocked at my workplace)....another really good/well done project you got here Tony. A lot of interesting sounds/tones to kept it very interesting. I would've liked to hear the bass a little bit more upfront, but that's just a personal preference.

Thanks guys. I got some new monitors last week (Yamaha HS8s) and still getting used to them. MAJOR upgrade from the little Mackies I've been using for the last 5 years!! They have much more low end, so that may account for a bit of low end lacking in this mix.

Just listened to the new Youtube version......and if my ears are not deceiving me, I think you have kicked up the bass a little.....it sounds like the earth is moving now.

Interesting take on this classic tune. Some nice playing and the earth is definitely rumbling here.

Mesh- I actually just compressed the low end just a tad differently in the updated mix. Did not "add" any EQ or gain to bass. Thanks for the tip.

That certainly was unlike the original.  I liked it... you've got some great lines thrown in surrounding the main melody. The arrangement is clear even though there's lots of interesting bits happening. I also liked the leslie effect on the vocals, nice touch.

SteveC- Thanks for those words. Actually, that was a great compliment, because my style of writing is usually very dense, and I make it a goal to have space for each and every sound...and there are usually many going at one time. What I lack in quality, I make up for in quantity! LOL
The effect on vocals was just a ProChannel preset- "Dumb Step".....my voice is old and crackly, so I have to disguise it. haha!
