CBS and US OPEN tennis....

I like to watch the major tennis matches. The men's final at Wimbledon was really incredible. Yesterday I was looking forward to watching Federer in his match. It got (I thought) rained out. Perhaps I was not paying close enough attention but in any case CBS' coverage went off during the rain delay. I thought that they would play the match today however, today it is history. Perhaps they played it on another channel but I don't think so, I called myself looking but I miss stuff so maybe they did. Nothing I can do about it now.
 
Serena Williams is playing Kanepi (Eastonia) now. First game was tied 1-1, they went to a commercial when Williams had advantage 4 times and it was advantage Kanepi. They came back after the commercial and it was next game, Williams had won the game. That is poor coverage in my book. I REALLY wish the tennis association would give coverage to someone else. I noticed when in Germany a few years ago that they never interrupt programs with commercials, they have 10 minutes or so of commercials between shows. (don't get me started on billboards polluting the highways).
 
I'm a little upset that I missed Federer's match yesterday and will try to be more careful to not miss the next one... but CBS' coverage is poor, the US Open deserves better coverage than this.
 
On a related note, women's tennis was a lot better when the spandex shorts were shorter. Maybe it's just me but I doubt it, women look nice to me!
