CCC 32 bit
Seems CCC only updates the 64 bit Splat. Is there a way to get it to update 32 and 64 bit, as I use both? If not, how do I update the 32 bit version? Thanks

Hi. Click on the gear icon in CCC, and check verbose install. It will allow you to install 32 bit SONAR (Advenced install). All the best.

Thanks Ken. Could you elaborate please? I clicked verbose install. Nothing happened or looked any different. What is verbose install? Thanks

The Command Center with Verbose mode enabled runs the installers as if they were run from the command line displaying all the option screens in the installers.

BTW, reason I ask is, I updated 64 bit the other day using CCC (run) which downloaded SONAR_Platinum_Setup_22.7.0.41.exe. I didn't have verbose selected, and had assumed that CCC would update 64 and 32, because that is what is installed (along with any extra stuff that gets updated). i'm hesitant to use that file (in C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads) to update the 32 bit version as CCC seems to also update other stuff too. So, Should I "run" from CCC for the 32 bit or use the downloaded file. Now that I realize that the CCC does not update both 64 and 32 (without verbose) I don't really know what I might be missing in the 32 bit install. Hope that makes sense. Maybe roll back to when I started last week?? Any advice would be appreciated.

There is no difference between the installers in your store account and the installers used by the Command Center. Whether you choose to use the Command Center or manually install is up to you. The Command Center defaults to the appropriate version of SONAR for the OS. Verbose mode provides a choice. Even when run manually, the installers must be launched twice when maintaining 32 and 64bit installations on the same machine. IIRC, SONAR has always worked this way.
