CCC Reporting incorrect Sonar Platinum version.

Hi all.
Just a small problem with CCC.  I have downloaded the Braintree update, installed it on the 2 computers that I use (though CCC). It reports that the update was installed, but when I return to CCC, it still shows the version as  Allston Update 1 (21.0.1.254), and indicates that an update is available. If I choose update, it simply runs the installer again. If I open Sonar, the version number has in fact changed from 21.00.01 build 254 to 21.01.00 build 37, (on both systems) so it would seem the update has installed and CCC is simply reporting it Incorrectly?

Sorry if this was covered in another thread. I read through several regarding Braintree but they tended to get rather long and head off on many tangents.

Bruce.

I'm pretty sure that if you do a manual install, CCC doesn't know anything about it. It's not "reading the .EXE" to find out what version you have; it's relying on its own metadata.

I've basically given up on CCC, because my current configuration is too far off the "normal" track.

Thanks for the reply Stickman - but I did go to the trouble of uninstalling all of my software and reinstalling it through CCC when Platinum was released. I also installed the update through CCC on both systems.

I too have given up on it now:)
