CD Burning...

Hey All...

When I try to burn to CD, I get an error that I'm missing a component and to go to Cakewalk to purchase it.

Any ideas where this component my be?

Thankx

Sorry, I can't answer your question except to advise that you not use SONAR to burn CDs. It does not burn in DAO mode (disk-at-once) and the disks you create may not be universally playable.

Fortunately, almost any CD-burning software can be used, although Sony CD Architect is widely preferred.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Hey Bit...

Thankx.  I've been using Nero and it works fine.  Just trying to take an extra step out of the mix, eh?

From Sonar, you can't insert ISRC codes, so it isn't really a "solution".  Nero and the Sony product allow you to insert these codes into each track.
