Cool song.  Seemed pretty well mixed to me.  I might have preffered a bit more kick.

I actually thought the vocals sat pretty decently.  Distinct but not to far forward.   But I'm no expert.

It started out a little dull but then those fast liks kicked in and you got my attention. Dixie Dregs? well not really,  very original overall in concept and instrumentation. Drums are very well done. Now I'm never sure anymore, especialy around here, but is that you playing the guitar or is it some kind of sampled voodoo? I promise I won't tell anybody else if it's sampled. ;|

Dull in the mix I could change but I think you meant 'dull song'- oh well!
Voodoo as in the first solo? those are keys, the rest are doubled track guitars, bass. The last gtr solo is also double tracked using 2 different gtrs.

Verses reminded me of Todd Rundgren, especially the keys. The chorus was Living Color with the offkey scales...

I love the use of panning clearing the way for the lead guitar/vocals in the middle. Vocals are well done.  I like the way the keys hit.  The funky guitar at about 2:00 in is realy nice.  Would have liked that to continue.  The guitar work on this is first rate!

This song is not as over compressed as project 1.  It does have sparkle..This song sits well and is not over compressed. 

Bottm Line:  Nice work for sure!

FYI? And I'm not judging or anything? This is merely an observation... if you click on carl? And fliter on songs? And see the posts? Well? It's telling... AND AGAIN! It is STRICTLY FYI! I'm saying nothing other than check out the stats? That's all? I like math? This is interesting math? So for anyone who wants to give me **** for saying this? you must not like math, because I'm making no comment, no judgement? "Nothing' other than it is interesting? And telling. I'm not alone in my feelings? I am one of the few who posts them? There are MANY more than me who give a crap? (MANY!) There are many who feel that if everyone posted, over and over and over and over again? As you have? and refused to comment? And you have? (according to the math?)  

Many feel that I should STFU and be quiet about it? And I am? The majority of the time? 
Because the majority of the tools who post here who are all "LOOK AT ME!! AND MY NEW BAND!! AND MY NEW TOON ON BLAH!!" Because they are trying to get their post hits up? And this is a very popular site, with many many visits/hits? It's understandable? I understand it?  And fully acceptable (IMO) as long as low those many tools occasionally comment on something by someone else? Just some of them? And just occasionally? Most do not? most are "tools..." Who only post, never really look for feedback? never care about it? And never comment on anything, even posts on their own "crap."

As opposed to the opportunity to say "anything" about the DIN of music which is everything else here, which is varied and beautiful? And there is something for EVERYONE!? RAP? GOSPEL? HARD ROCK? POP ROCK? DEATH METAL? IT IS ALL HERE!
