Dan, Pretty good cover, you also did a nice job capturing the late 60's, early 70's sound. very enjoyable listen. Regards

Nice! You might consider bringing the vocals up just a tad. Love the bass! :) If I'm really picky, I'd say something about the snare is bugging me, but I'm not sure what it is. Overall, great playing and singing and great tune! :)

Nicely done, one of my favorite NY songs. I'd bring the high vocal part up a bit but other than that the mix sounds great to me. Dan

BIABDude + + + 1 - - - - is that you on the guitar Yeah, one left, one right. It's a really easy drop D tuning song to play. Drop the 1st and 6th string. Janet Nice! Overall, great playing and singing and great tune! :) Hi Janet, thanks. I know what you mean about the snare. I'm getting sick of the BFD snares. Or maybe you mean the clapping on part of the off beats. Guitarhacker One of my early NY tunes. Well done. even got the little "chunka chunk" in on the guitar. Yeah, gotta have the "chunka chunka"! dke Nicely done, one of my favorite NY songs. I'd bring the high vocal part up a bit but other than that the mix sounds great to me. Thanks. Really, and I thought they were a bit loud.

Nice Dan. I'd like to hear the snare cut through a bit more but that's just me. Good song.

I've been a fan of Neil Young for decades. Last Cd I bought of his was 'Prairie Wind". The vox and guitars sound nice on this Dan.

Nice rendition. I've been wanting to record this since, well, 1972. I guess I can wait a little longer.

This brought back some very found memories... I agree with the comment about the snare not cutting through the mix. Other than that I thought the mix was quite even.

This sounds better than I ever recall hearing Neil Young perform or record it. However, just like the original, it makes me want to check the phono needle for dog hair and dirt and clean the LP with alcohol. You probably spent hours trying to get that sound. However, I'd like to hear it mixed for a little more high-fidelity - less compression, slightly less distortion, and more high frequency through a bit of EQ. I realize that this would take away from the accuracy of the cover, but I think the performance is good enough to get away with it and make it the way NY should have recorded it in the first place. Dan, IF there's an issue with the snare, its just a bit too much verb, IF there's an issue. "slightly less distortion" ? Nicely done!

Great voice as always Dan, always loved this tune. You did it justice, sounds like some clipping going on in areas in the mix though.

Great singing. Great vintage sounding arrangement. Around 2:27 there is tapping which I think is your closed hi-hat. It sounds kind of strange.

Thanks, Freddy, Max, Scotty, Vincente. I hope to check out all of all yall's music soon. I was hoping to do some of that, but I have to freaking work tomorrow now and maybe sunday. I've already put in 14 hours today and I still can't go home. Grrr... I could get something done if I didn't have to work.

Great performance...........always love that Neil Young song. The vocals didn't stand out enough for me, but that could be one of my downfalls. I love the vocals out front, but sounded really good. :) Tim

Hey, Dan, Really nice job on this great cover! Excellent job on all of the playing, the authentic tones and the absolutely dynamite vocals. This was actually one of the first songs that I learned to play on the guitar. Thanks for the cool trip down memory lane! Bob
