CWPA9 Plugin missing in Sonar 4

Hi there, 

 I'm trying to get an old project done in CWPA 9 to be able to be remixed in Sonar 4.0.2.

 Here's my process so far:

 Sonar 2_XL needs to be installed to be able to read bus assignments.
Done with success, but needed to be installed on a Fresh XP SP-1
(yes Service Pack One ) OS because 2_XL can deal with DirectX9 and needs to see dX 8.1.
OK ... so done with success.

All plugins are seen and the .wrk is able to be saved as a .cwp and the .cwp moved to my main work station where Sonar 4 is installed.

Sonar 4 is on an other PC (XP SP-2) and is where I want to mix but I'm getting a missing plugin error message for "Cakewalk FX Stereo Delay".

So, I installed CWPA 9 and the Audio FX, and CWPA 9 loads the song with no missing plugin errors.
OK.

 But Sonar 4 still reports the plugin as missing.
Even though it's a DX plugin I rescanned with VST Adapter 4 just in case, but no luck.
Still missing plugin.

 Any ideas?

Scanning VSTs doesn't work for DX plug-ins. DXs have to be installed from the original disk. 

Yes. I know that.
It was just an after thought

The plugin *is* installed from the original disk and is recognized properly in CWPA9 but not in Sonar 4.
