I don't think that Ozone for $199 is a "Special Deal for X2 Customers Only" That's faulty advertising man...

    That is unless it's ADVANCED...ha ha....Um ....seriously doubt it...LOL

For keyboards, and electric pianos in particular I love Overloud's VKFX.
But its only available as part of a bundle in the Cakewalk Black Friday deals.

Ozone is $159 over at Audio Deluxe. Looks like us non-Sonar users get an even better deal. ;)

Though it looks like I'll be buying Rapture directly from Cakewalk after all. :)

Checked UK pricing for Ozone, DV247, Dolphin Music and others are all slightly cheaper.

    Yeah...that's the reason I said that...they're trying to make out like it's a deal...but it's not...

$199 is the every day price everywhere...and most places are a lot cheaper...

but, then again, Cake isn't known for the best PR decisions in the industry either...

Rain, glad you're finally getting it...I jumped on it last time it was on sale for $19.99

My only hesitation w/ Rapture - and I've posted that in the Software forum is that it hasn't been updated since 2010 I think, so it is currently not compatible w/ either of the two most recent OS on Mac.

Okay for now, because I'm still on the previous OS but I'll eventually upgrade and I don't like the idea of putting $20 on a synth that is no longer being developed.

I'll probably take my chance, anyway.
