I tried to join the webinar at about 10 minutes past the start time and could not find a link that got me there...only a link to the CakeTV live page with the old webinars. Was there a small window of time during which I could have joined? If so, might I suggest that you publish those times prior to the next webinar?

For example, you wouldn't have been able to watch the webinar on Chrome for Android or any iOS device. SP

The live stream applet might use html 5 video for any device that doesn't support flash, and all supported devices get flash. That's the way youtube handles it now. It detects what device is being used.

Why is it exactly that we can't toss the metronome onto a track? Is it just an oversight or is there some kind of fancy technical mumbo jumbo getting in the way?

Layers from projects in X1 and earlier open in lanes automatically in X2, so there is nothing to worry about. SP

You can do it with an internal loopback of your audio interface, if it supports it. Or you could make a metronome track out of TTS-1's percussion sounds and a MIDI track. SP

Beepster Why is it exactly that we can't toss the metronome onto a track? Is it just an oversight or is there some kind of fancy technical mumbo jumbo getting in the way? You can route it to any Bus. Is there a difference if its routed to a bus or a track? Either way you can adjust its volume on the fly, add an effect if desired (I actually use the PC4K Expander/ Gate on mine to tighten up the sound), or mute it at any time (of course now that can be done by the COntrol Bar). Thanks Seth but I meant to actually get the clicks onto a track to manipulate it. Here's a few examples where I'd use it that way. 1) I like to leave at least a few bars at the start of my tunes (in case I want to add something at the start without moving all the clips) so being able to just have a four or eight count before the music starts and then turn it off/snip it once the music starts would be useful. 2) Songs that have silence or just ambient sounds in the middle where a brief count in to the next part. 3) Having click tracks or click intros on mixdowns for practicing parts on a regular stereo or another computer without Sonar. I know some of this can be done with automation or using a MIDI drum track instead of metronome but it would just be a lot easier to bounce/record the click track and edit it would be a lot easier IMO. No biggie. It's just something I realized would be useful the other night while I was tracking some stuff. If I ever needed to anything like that I'll just use SD3 and the step sequencer. It's just more steps and screwing around, yanno?
