Updated and got the "database" error and it reverted back to Tungsten (I prefer Mercury). I rolled back to 2016.11 until the kinks are worked out of this one. Cakewalk, appreciate the frequent updates but maybe give the "early preview" window a little bit more time before rolling out? Don't like when updates break things or reset my preferences.

and to answer this part, no, the latest melodyne is still the november 4.1 update
Yup, I see that now. The announcement seemed to imply there was an update.

I have updated to the latest version but do not have Melodyne 4.1, the version is still 2, the paint tool in the tool bar does not appear, not sure what else might be missing. Sonar Platinum is very crash prone. I am actually considering dumping Cakewalk Platinum, too many issues interrupting work flows.

updated to 2016.12, and also upgraded to Melodyne 4.x Editor, and Sonar Platinum now crashes when exiting. I don't know if there is a correlation, but I removed Melodyne via the Plug in Manager, and Sonar still crashes on exit.
No issues saving a project, or adding Melodyne as a region FX in an existing project. Running on Windows 7 with zero platinum issues prior to the recent updates and upgrades mentioned above.

- you don't get Melodyne updates via Cakewalk - go to your Celemony Account and update it from there
- SONAR Platinum is totally stable for the vast majority of users. I suggest you start a thread in the main forum list your entire system specs and describe exactly what you do to provoke a crash.

hello,
this morning I bought the Sonar Platinum Lifetime update, unfortunately!
and ever since sonar doesn't work properly anymore.before I could chose any samplingrate between 22khz
up to 192khz, 24bit, running the ASIO driver, not the slightest problem. I can open any project,
but when I try to start it, I see the following message:
"Audio Recording device couldn't be opened. Either the device doesn't support the Audio Format of the actual project
or it is currently used". Let me emphasize that the program ran smoothly, without the slightes flaw until this morning.
in Win10 - Playback Devices -chosing the standard device - Properties - Advanced -there is only one eligible sampling rate: 48khz, either 16 or 24 bit, no more 44.1khz.
>I can't playback any project, immaterial which driver I use - wdm/ks, wasapi, Asio - always the same message.
This is the last thing that I would have expected from this Update - 199,-$ - and that's why will call this deal off.
my setup: Asus m'd Z97-A usb 3.1, 32GB RAM, Intel Core i/-4790K 4GHz, Win10 Pro 64bit System installed on Samsung 850 SSD, Cakewalk VS-100 Audio Interface, latest driver -2.0.2, FW 1.50.

I don't see a fix for the vs100 marker control not working
Also worth recording that the Add Marker button has ceased to work in V-Contol v1.9 (iPad) as well as on my VS-100.

Hello Staff view has bug (maybe on save, not save track select data in file?).Does not remember picked track. Example: Add two MIDI track, in staff view pick only track 2. Save project. Reopen.
