Cakewalk A-800 PRO keyboard as control surface?

Is anyone using a A-800 PRO keyboard as control surface?

How well does it integrate with Sonar X2?

Thanks,
Jonathan

I have one and have not had much luck...I use it primarily to trigger softsynths...I just haven't had enough time to sit down and figure out how to map it...hopefully someone here will chime in and we can both learn something.

It's a great keyboard (except for maybe the shortish keys if you mind) but I'm not sure if it's the best MIDI keyboard/controler surface for Sonar.

If you want to know its limitations, check here:

I can't believe support is lacking for the A-800 and the VS700, etc.

CS's cost big money and they're their own products, for Pete's sake.

I wonder how we could go about pressuring Roland to do something about their CS support.
I certainly won't buy one unless it integrates completely with Sonar.
How hard can it be fix things ? Why don't they just hire some poor student over the summer to do it ?
