Cakewalk Express to Music Creator Help timing issues

I have a version of Express that came with a sound card. Hence they disable some functions. I did some audio recording, only to find out that they limit it to 4 tracks of audio. I called 12 tone, and they recomended Music Creator 2.0. So I bought it, and tryed to load my Express recording. All looks good, and sounds good, until you get to the end. MC has issues with timing on playback. The song starts correct, but by the time you get to the end, it is showing by the cursor several bars ahead of what it is playing. All the audio track is showing up on the screen, but since it is playing earlier in the song than what is showing, the song ends up stopping before the audio is actually finished. This will also make it very difficult to do any editing what so ever. I have look through every option that I can on the menu, and looked through the documentation( which is very minimal) and cannot find a fix. Anyone know what to do?

Check your sample rate and make sure that it matches in the sound card setup and the program setup.

Yes I have checked the sample rates in both versions, and my M-Audio Mobile-pre, and rechecked several times. All are the same at 44.1. Thanks for the advise.

Are these audio tracks and is so are they mixed down to one or still four separates. And are they wave or MP3?

They are all audio tracks, actually there are 13 to be exact. Different parts of the song on different tracks,ie 1st verse, chorus etc. They are all wave files, all recorded in express, and all still separate on separate tracks. I now need MC to be able to mix down.
