Cakewalk Invades UK May 12th - 14th; Meet a Rep and Music Production Show
Hello Everyone, Next week we'll be participating in several events in Leeds, England. On Thursday the 12th we'll be doing a Meet a Rep day at PMT Leeds. The event is free and I'll be hanging out with SONAR X1 and will be happy to answer questions, demonstrate features, lend tips and tricks, etc. On Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th we'll be at The Music Production Show and I'll be demonstrating SONAR X1 on the main stage each day at 16:00 as well as hanging at our SONAR station at the Roland booth all day. The MPS is open to the public but does require tickets to get in (please see the information below). Event info ... Why only Leeds?
Twigman, We're only doing it in Leeds because that's where I'll be. The reason for my trip to the UK is the Music Production Show, so we thought we'd fit in a Meet a Rep day in the area as well. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to travel the country and do MAR days in each major city (believe me, I'd love to). SP

Will there be any Cakewalk mechandise being given away at the beat meet a rep event? Coffee mugs? Pens? Anything? I'm an hour or so down the road from there, but I should be at work. Need some incentive...

I don't know, really. It's not a clinic, more of an informal thing. I've never brought food or drink to one before. I'm not sure what the event organizers have planned in that department, though.

When Seth came to my town, the store guys brought cookies. But they weren't very good, I should've brought some of my own. As I recall, Seth's a tea guy. There might be a chance that there will be some good tea there. Just maybe. Is there good tea in the UK?

Big thanks to all who showed up at PMT Leeds for the Meet a Rep day! Karyn, was great to see you there and I'm glad you feel it was worth the long drive. I had a blast hanging out and demoing SONAR and I hope to make it back to the UK to do it again in the near future. Keep asking here on the forum and I'll ping each request by the higher ups. The event tomorrow and Saturday at the Royal Armory should be cool. We've got a nice booth with a large desk with the VS-700, SONAR X1, APro300, OctaCapture, etc., similar to what we had at the MAR day at PMT. SP
