Cakewalk MP3 software

Hope someone can shed a light on this issue..

I purchased the CW MP3 encoder a couple of months ago to use with SONAR X1 and all seemed fine.
I tried it again recently and all I've got is distortion and clicks and pops.
I can render a wav with audiograbber software with no problems, so I don't think it's my mix.
Any suggestions?

    I have got the same scenario. Cakewalk mp3 encoder was working ok for few months, and now, when I try to export 24bit audio track as a mp3 file (using purchased Cakewalk mp3 encoder) I get distortions, weird grawling noise. When I export 24bit project audio track as 16bit audio file no distortion is detected. So, it must be something wrong with the Cakewalk MP3 encoder.

    Would be nice if somebody could find the solution to this problem. I don't know what's wrong with that Cakewalk MP3 encoder. Did you try to contact the Cakewalk Tech Support?
