Cakewalk Music Creator 7 with 7.1 sound card.

I am new at working with Cakewalk Music Creator and I have a question.    If I get a 7.1 sound card for my computer can each MIDI track of a project be outputted to specific speakers?   i.e. left front, left center, left rear, right front, right center, right rear, woofer, etc.    It seems like I would have multiple synths in the project, one for each pair of speakers.

    MC does not support surround sound.  you have to have Sonar for that.
