Cakewalk Sound Center and Midi plyaback

OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Audio Make: M-Audio
Audio Model:
MIDI Make: m-audio
MIDI Model: axiom 25
Other:
I recently upgraded from Music Creator 6 to Music Creator 6 Touch. When I insert the CakewalkSoundCenter synth I am unable to hear any sound on playback when I used the midi controller. When I press on the midi keyboard I can see that the volume meter go from green to red in the mixer view so I know its properly connected. When the CakewalkSoundCenter window is open I can press on a key using my mouse and I hear sound. It seems that I can not hear any sound when I used my midi controller with only the CakewalkSoundCenter. The weird thing is that when I insert the S1-Bass Guitar, Si-drum Kit, S1 electric piano, and the s1 string section I can hear playback when I use the midi controller. I have reviewed all your online solutions(no success) and I am positive that the setup is correct as all the other synths allow usage of the midi controller and proper playback. Is there any solution to the CakewalkSoundCenter synth? Is it possible that there is a glitch with that synth? Is there a way for me to just reinstall the cakewalksoundcenter synth w/out unstalling and reinstalling Music Creator 6 Touch? Is there somewhere I can take my computer and midi controller and get some in person assistance to possible resole this issue.

Make sure that the MIDI track that is recieving the data from the MIDI controller has it's output set to the soft synth, and that the soft synth's output is set to the M-Audio.

Tennessee .... I have this happen on occasion too. Sound with a mouse, but no sound from the midi keyboard.... First thing is to check the inputs and outputs on the tracks involved. Be sure things are routed and properly selected.

If that doesn't solve it, my next step is to reboot both the computer and the interface. Which brings me to a question. What soundcard or interface and driver are you using?

I have tried to reboot both the computer and interface and I didnt have any success. I am using a M Audio Fast Track Pro guitar/mic recording interface.

I firmly believe that all my inputs and outputs are properly routed and selected, however just to confirm can you tell me what the proper output and input should be?
