Cakewalk: You're amazing!

Just checked out the new info about Sonar and your new videos @ youtube...
 
I'm lost for words... Have I died?... Is this heaven??

    I don't get why folks are going into raptures over a) yet another pattern tool, b) expanding FX bins, c) vocal align, and d) mix recall.
     
    Apart from that, I don't see any immediate feature we don't already have in X3.
     
    Don't get me wrong, I'll be upgrading. I like the FX bin enhancements.
    But I honestly don't get the excitement.

    The new control bar is an incredible improvement. My favorite feature since SONAR X1 was released.
     
    You can all thank Ben Staton for that

    I'll be upgrading for sure as Im a big fan of supporting companies that have done good by me for over a decade.

    But truth be told I really don't see anything that makes me go "WOW" - at least not yet. X3 has been flawless for me for quite a while and I have zero problems with my Slate, UAD, Toontrack plugs. Not a one.


    One thing - and yes it's important to me - is there any mention of color customization ? I swear by Panups Duckbar and the idea of not having something as good or better as a replacement gives me reason to pause.
