Cakewalk by BandLab - Full Rock Project Template with Kuassa Amps

"Dropped Ball" - Full Cakewalk by BandLab  Project Template
Hi guys, this one of my usual mixing - composing templates used in my hard rock - instrumental style.
The archive is "Dropped Ball Dimi.cwb"  Cakewalk song bundle file.

It includes all the audio files and settings for your learning and mixing purpose.
I'm using:
1. Stock Cakewalk plugins.
2. Ez Drummer 2 for my drums.
3. Our Kuassa Creme Amp simulator, Kuassa Efektor Overdrive
/boosting the Creme amp/ and Kuassa Efektor Chorus for the clean-chorus guitar.
 4. Ibanez RG320 - all stock. Made in Indonesia

Hope you enjoy it!
Dimi

Thanks Dimi, I haven't downloaded anything (yet), but did listen/watch the Youtube video. Sounded very good and nice tones on that Kuassa. When you say "Our Kuassa", are you also part of that company?

EDIT: I just watched a bunch on Youtube videos of you using Amplitube as well as some songs you've done....just WOW!!! I'm an instant fan :). Talk about great playing/technique and talent.....very impressive Dimi. Would love to see/hear more of your songs posted here and thanks for sharing!!

BTW out of all the amp sims, which one do you use/like the most and what's your signal path/setup?

Thanks for your time and kind words.
Really appreciate it! :)
Yes, I'm part of Kuassa's. Making demos and presets.
I had the chance to try every amp sim out there over the years. My first experience using amp sims started back in 2000 and even tried to use my guitar with asio around  98-99. The technology evolved greatly since the first SimulAnalog amps and first Revalver.

These days, I stay behind Kuassa's amps with all my experience and support them 100%
New DSP algorithms are behind the corner and I love the sound.
It's almost pure magic.

My signal is pretty simple.
TC electronics Desktop Konnekt 6 and then the DAW. No fancy pre-amps or DI.
Thanks for posting the video! I'm going to upload and share more full mixes tones here!
If you are interested in some particular tone, please let me know!
Best regards,
Dimi

Thanks Dimi for sharing all the downloads at your site, I'll be downloading them soon.

My current go to sims are Bias FX Pro and Amplitube4 (I have almost all the collections)....as always getting that 'phat' full tone (clean & heavy) is a bit of a challenge and have been using both simultaneously on separate tracks to achieve that tone. Of course, I'd appreciate any tips you can provide. I'm definitely going to check out Kuassa's amps now.

BTW, I listened to a few of your albums last week and enjoyed them very much.....quite reminiscent of the recent G3 concert I saw a few months ago.

Here is one of my all time favorite instrumental
“Abandoned Place”.
it was recorded in 2008 and still is one of the most downloaded tracks over the streaming – mp3 services. I’m sharing the backing track from the project, a short reference DI track from the solo guitar and fresh new guitar tone track chain for Cakewalk

Back then the solo guitar tone was sculpted using one of the first prototypes of Kuassa’s amp sims, made by the DSP guru and Kuassa’s founder, known in the forums as “Aradaz“.
We found each other on KVR forum and became good friends.
10 years later I decided to recreate the solo guitar tone, using our Efektor Overdrive Blues type, which is really dynamic sounding and reacts amazingly good on every guitar pick nuance .
Then overdrive goes into Kuassa Vermilion amp simulator and boosting the clean channel of the “A” amp.
The Delay and Reverb are stock Cakewalk Sonitus plugins

Yes, 'Abandoned Place' is an excellent track and I've listened to quite a bit of your other songs as well (Terrestrial Place, Loong etc...really good playing/performance and the mix/production is top notch). I've also watched a lot of your vids on Kuassa......tone is everything lol.

Seeing how Crème & Vermilion are on sale ($20 a piece), and you've achieved to get such excellent tones out of them, I'm getting them. :)) Also, do you know if there are any issues with these VST's working in Sonar/Cakewalk Bandlab?
What are your thoughts on Amplifikation One? Since I have Amplitube 4, I wasn't sure if I need this (although the cabinet modeler/impulse loader got my attention).

All plugins are working fine so far. Playing and recording last week without problems.
Both Creme and Vermilion are capable of loading impulses, just make sure to bypass the cabinets
clicking on the "ON" knob's.
The 4 channel impulse response loader in Amplifikation one is really cool for multi microphone setups.

The Custom Amp is my favorite. It has 19 different tone stacks and 4 different output modes.
Definitely try the demo :)

And again thanks for your kind words!!!

Cheers,
Dimi

Anyone knows, why when opening the mixer I'm getting some white artifact?
Video card issue?
