Hi! I have Cakewalk Home Studio 2002. I've never received an answer from Cakewalk either. I suspect they no longer support HS 2002.

I have sent emails to support. None were answered. They have our money, now we are apparently on our own. At least they gave us this self help forum ( whose utility stems soley from the volunteerism of paying customers who couldn't get support from Cakewalk)

I'm really starting to get the impression that this SONAR product is Snake Oil and the salesmen have long since got outa Dodge.

I have sent a few e-mails looking for answers to Home Studio 6 questions never got a single response. Instead of constantly up-dating and "improving" to get more of our $$ I'd like to see them support what they already released.

they have had problems with their email support. are you using the form? or are you trying to send an email directly? you have to use the form. if you're using the form and still not getting a response, then I suggest you post in this thread stating you are still having a problem with the form and not getting a response from tech support.

this is the form you're supposed to be using if you're not doing so, then make sure you use it or you won't get a response:

Most of the times the problem is your ISP's email SPAM cheecker is filtering it out. Add

    No-Reply@cakewalk.com
    CakewalkNews@cakewalk.com

to your contact list and you may be able to prevent your mail from Cakewalk getting filtered.

when I did finally get a tech support person to email me about my problem, it came from a person's email address, not from the cakewalknews@cakewalk.com

    it was something like: johndoe@cakewalk.com

spam filtering for the tech support response wasn't necessary in my case.

I used the online submission form, but it took about three weeks before I got a response.

Up until half year ago support was responsive for me. Recently it is either slow or none.
