The only ads I see are at the top of the page. I've never got any popups from the Cake site....are you actually getting popups of ads?

FWIW, I've never had a pop-up from here.  You might have received an unwanted add-on to your browser.

No I'm getting an ad pop up from Cakewalk themselves that has a noisy guitar sound that comes blasting thru my monitors. I close it up as soon as possible.

I had a job as a pop up once.  The Whack-a-Mole game was broken, so I had to improvise.  It's too bad we didn't have any of those soft rubber mallets.

I still have a few dents in my skull.

Maybe you should have been using your time-travel talent to get out of there, Bubba.  You'd never have gotten hit.

You should have seen the alternatives.  Whack-a-Mole was the better choice.

He would have fond memories of everything except the concussion.  He could play the game and bug-out when the mallet is about to hit and pop back in when it's done.  Bubba should be happy, but those who are playing might be disappointed because they'll never win.

    No pop ups here.

But then it's possible that I might not be allowed into (pop-up) Heaven for various reasons we needn't get into.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Unfortunately, such a strategy would require thinking ahead.  I didn't know that's what heads were for at that time.  I'm still not convinced.

Would it make a difference if there was a typo and the OP actually meant to read Haven?

Well, it'd make a difference to the pop-ups who thought they were in Heaven.

So, it's better for them to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven?

Speaking of Heaven & Hell, Black Sabbath is also having some issues with certain players popping in and pooping out....

Did you get involved with something called 'Bomb The Mallard'?

You might notice a trend between the wiseguy posts that no one else seems to be having this problem.

Perhaps you can provide a link to the offending page and info about which browser(s) you are using. As others have implied, you may just need to tell your browser to block unwanted pop-ups or advertising.

I've seen similiar sentiments from him before.  What does he expect?  This IS the Coffee House, nothing's supposed to be serious in here.

(And yet, I did provide a very real possibility for his issue - and what probably is the prolem - in my first post.  Oh well.)
