CakewalkSoundCenter (Synth Rack) not showing up in Music Creator LE 5

So I got Music Creator LE 5 a while ago from a Samson microphone box. I installed it recently on my Windows 7 so I could mix music on it. However, if I try to load a preset for a new project, such as Normal, I get an error dialogue message box saying these exact words:

"The following plug-ins are referred to by this product, but could not be found. They could be missing or improperly installed on your system.

The original plug-in state is saved by stand-in plugins, and will be restored if you save the project and subsequently load it on a system where the plug-ins are properly installed.

Warning: If you loaded this file in "safe mode", overwriting this file will result in the permanent loss of these effects."

It then lists that CakewalkSoundCenter (Synth Rack) is missing. I have no idea what do do, though: I look in the VstPlugins section of Program Files (x86) and the Sound Center folder is there. There are no .exe files in the folder, though. I don't know if that means anything, but it's not there.

By the way, I chose the Full Installation choice when I installed the software.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: By the way, do I really need Sound Center if it eventually doesn't work, or are there other plug-ins I could use that would work as well?

    Welcome to the forum.
Search the disk to see if it's there, but the MC 5 LE version doesn't include SoundCenter, regardless of it being listed and referred to.
Open a new project and choose Blank, No Tracks as the template.
Then right-click in the gray area on the left and insert as many MIDI and audio tracks as you want.
Since the new tracks won't be referring to that synth, the program should open and work.
SoundCenter is a pretty good sounding synth, and if you ever decide to upgrade to the full version of MC 6 (which is a little different from MC 5), you'll get SoundCenter with that.

Yup.... LE is sort of the "demo version" of MC5.  it is functional but limited in what features are turned on and what goodies come with it.

My suggestion: buy MC6 from a local store. Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy and others often have it in stock for $40. I'm also guessing it is available in the Sam Ash and Guitar Center chains as well.

You mentioned a Sampson microphone box..... did you recently buy a USB mic?

I did just get the Samson GoMic. But honestly, I have no problem with it being a version with limited functionality, because all I'm doing is importing songs and drum beats for DJ mixes. Now this is a little off topic, but you know guys know how to separate instrument? I don't really know what it's called, but it when a DJ can remove, say, like the drums or the vocals from the original song? I'm trying to also remix a few songs with a new drum beat.

I don't know how to do it, but I do know that no Cakewalk program can do it.
Unless you can find a MIDI file of the song; then the instruments can be easily removed or muted.

yeah... one a mix is printed to a CD or other file.... it's kinda like trying to separate the ingredients in a cake back into the flour, sugar, eggs.... not an easy task.

There are things that claim to be able to do it but the results are often much less than desirable.

Best to start with the multi track project, and like Greg pointed out, many, but not all, and especially not the latest hits, are available on various websites for free, or for a price. But they do give you the tracks you need to do what you are wanting.
