Camstudio-like app for dual monitors?

Hi-

Camstudio doesn't support dual monitors yet, AFAICT (please correct me if I'm wrong!). Is there a similar app out there that does?

    Hi Susan,

    Do you have the latest version of Camtasia Studio? If so, then you can record any size desktop (including extended over multiple monitors). When you open the Recorder, click the Custom button. Then drag one of the upper corners of the green outline so that it covers the entire desktop over all monitors. That should do it.

    Hi Scott-

    No, I just have the free CamStudio. I can't really justify buying a full-fledged screen recorder right now for what I need. :-( I'm looking for something free or very low-priced, since this is just for a couple of quick one-offs.

    I checked his blog, and a guy called Marcus got it running on Vista with dual monitor support, so it was going to be added to the next version, AFAIK.

    I use it too, so I'll do some more digging and keep you posted if I hear anything.

    I don't know how large of an area jing will record. It is free, but it is limited to 5 minutes.

    Edit: I think the free version also stamps the recorded video with Jing or something.
