Can I have busses beside tracks?

I have x3, haven't upgraded YET, I was wondering if there is a workaround so that Can have 'busses' beside tracks in the console view. For example, I like parallel processing my bass and vocals, I would like to have the parallel channel beside the original channel. At the moment I have to have my parallel channel over in the buss section.
Thanks Guys

Yes, you can. I have a plugin here that allows you to route any track/buss/send into another track.

No. Tracks are always together and buses are always together. it's been a requested feature but no go so far.

One of our forum members (Silktone) has created a plugin that takes the output of several tracks and can pass the, to another track located immediately next to the tracks. In effect becoming a bus for just the reason you describe. You can get a copy here. sorry I don't have the link anymore nor can I access my copy from here.
I'll send him a PM and ask him to place a link here. Just be patient. Not everyone's around all the time.

In the time I was writing and searching if I had a link I've been beaten. Clearly there are psychotic powers at work here.

Do you mind if I place a copy of the file in the Public folder of my Onedrive. I've also created a doc which is a verbatim copy of the post you linked to above?

It's a shame that Cakewalk doesn't devote a little space for these programs that our members have developed. We are starting to accumulate quite a listing.

    ProjectScope........czyzk
    AZController.......aszlow
    Sonar Utils (VST manager)........KPerry
    SideChainMixer..........Silktone
Duckbar...........Panup - in development for current Sonar version.

    Some not yet released.

They can make a discaimer so it doesn't come back on them. They ( the industry generally) do it with their own software.

Let me know if I've forgotten any.

Duckbar included under "Some not yet released" as there is not a stable version for this release available YET. But I've updated the list to include it by name.
There are also some utilities left in history no longer being developed, so not included.

    Yes go ahead, no problem.

BTW, just a small correction... The track that you turn into a bus does not have to be right next to the source track. You can arrange them any way you want

Excellent plugin SilkTone, really helpful, Unfortunately I can't solo the 'buss' track on it's own to hear the parallel trck on it's own and hear the processing I'm doing but it's better than nothing and I can higher the track up to hear what I'm doing. Fair play. Thanks a million.

I haven't thought about the case of soloing the track bus alone. It is something that is outside of the plugin's control, but maybe some creative routing can provide a solution. Will need to think about that...
