Can I install X3 alongside X1?

Hi,
I am about to take the plunge and pick up X3. One question - can I install X3 alongside X1d & continue using X1 if I have any problems? I have been able to do this with older versions, but I want to make sure that this is still possible. I kept 8.5 running for a while until I was used to the new X1 interface, and had no problems there. Thanks for any input.
Regards,
Terry

    Yes.

All SONAR versions install/run independently of each other. They will import the preferences from the previous install on the first run of the newly installed program.

It's a good idea to keep previous versions of Sonar on your PC. In case you have a problem opening an old project, it's handy to have an earlier version ready to go for testing purposes.

    At one time I had Sonar 5 - 8.5.3 on my box. Now I have X1 32/64, X2 64, X3 64 on my box.
